Why pay Hundreds of dollars for CMS when WordPress is FREE!

This is a question I ask myself time and time again:
“Why are people paying hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars on a CMS (content management system) when WordPress offers the same (and in most cases more) features and add-ons.”
WordPress is a breeze for website designers to implement their own themes and probably has the biggest resources database in the world of CMS.
The favorite feature about WordPress has to be the SEO (search engine optimization) that WordPress offers. For example, previous CMS programs that I have used, when creating new pages they would give your page a number or leave you with a masive url link, e.g: mysite.com/page?=12 or mysite.com/html/access/index/newpage/01/index.php.
Basically searchengines just over look these pages because they don’t prove that the link would be useful, with WordPress it is simple and all pages have a relative link to the given title for example: mysite.com/contact-us/
Another great feature with WordPress is because there are well over 1,000,000 (yes One Million) live websites implementing WordPress CMS they have been able to fine-tune everything from their design to bugs and errors, to create the easiest admin area that even a total newbie to computers could get use to.
